What happens at your first assessment?

Your first session is a full hour with Carly. She takes your history, asks what you need to get back to, then screens how you move, how strong you are and what the problem area is doing under load.

You leave with a working diagnosis in plain English, the first steps of your plan, and a clear idea of how progress will be measured.

Sports injury rehab can help you to:

Keep training while the injury settles

Stopping everything tends to leave you weaker when you come back. In most cases there is a modified version of your training you can keep doing, and Carly helps you find it.

Close the gap that pain leaves behind

Pain often eases well before strength returns. Carly measures what is still missing, often against your other side, and rebuilds it in stages.

Recover well after surgery

After an operation, your rehab follows the limits your surgeon has set. Each stage moves on only when you meet the markers for the next one.

Rebuild for the demands of your sport

A skater, a runner and a racing driver need different end points. The later stages of your plan copy the speed, direction changes and fatigue your sport puts you under.

Go back with evidence on your side

The decision to return rests on retesting against your own baseline. You go back to full training knowing what the numbers show.

How it works,

A clear path from first assessment to being back at full output, measured, not guessed. Every session is one hour with Carly, at UNTIL Marylebone, Canary Wharf or Soho.

Assess

Physical screening and performance testing to find what is limiting you. Carly takes a full history, examines how you move and load, and measures where it matters, so the plan starts from numbers rather than guesswork.

Plan

A programme built around your goals, your sport and your calendar. You leave knowing what is driving the problem, what you are going to do about it, and how progress will be measured from one session to the next.

Build

Coached sessions and progressive loading, adjusted as you improve. Strength, control and conditioning are built in stages, with the load moved on only when the last stage has been earned.

Return

Back to sport and racing, with objective measures to prove it. The decision to return rests on retesting against your own baseline, so you go back with evidence rather than a feeling.

Sports injury rehab questions

When can I go back to my sport after an injury?

When you meet agreed criteria, rather than when a set number of weeks has passed. Carly looks for strength close to your uninjured side, confident sport-specific movement including under fatigue, and trust in the injured area. At Box Box the return decision is made with you, on the evidence from retesting.

How much does sports injury rehab with Carly cost?

Sports injury rehab with Carly costs £150 for a 60-minute session. Each hour can include assessment, hands-on treatment, coached exercise and retesting, depending on where you are in your recovery. You pay per session and can book by calling 07719 662005 or by email through the contact page.

Where are Box Box rehab sessions held?

Rehab sessions run by appointment at three UNTIL clubs in central London: UNTIL Marylebone at 1 Orchard Street W1H 6HJ, UNTIL Canary Wharf at 30 South Colonnade E14 5HX, and UNTIL Soho at 111 Charing Cross Road WC2H 0DT. There are no fixed hours, so contact Carly to arrange a time.

Can Carly help me after surgery?

Yes. Box Box works with people after orthopaedic surgery, such as knee or shoulder operations, once they are ready for outpatient rehab. Carly follows the restrictions your surgeon has set, so bring your operation notes and any rehab protocol to the first session to help her plan the right stages.

Why do I still need rehab if the pain has gone?

Because pain usually settles before strength and control fully return. Going back to full training at that point is a common way to get injured again. Carly measures what is still missing and rebuilds it, so you return at Box Box with your capacity checked rather than assumed.
